The Wheatland Wizards is the
competitive regional traveling basketball program of the
Wheatland Athletic Association which is based in the
Naperville / Aurora area. Our club is committed to teaching the
skills and fundamentals of basketball, developing character in
young athletes and promoting a true love for the game. We offer
a year round basketball program that includes highly qualified

Illinois U12 Wizards
Champions at Super Regional!
The Lady Wizards took 1st Place at the Super
Regional in Highland, IN (Apr. 5-6th) defeating Racine
61-23, Illinois Flash 40-27, Illinois Angels 35-17 and
winning the championship game against the Illinois Flash
38-11.

U12 Lady Wizards Qualify For Nationals
The 7th grade Illinois Lady Wizards after going
53-6 during the regular season have qualified for the AAU
Nationals. They qualified by winning the Noblesville Classic
Super Regional in Noblesville, IN. This is the 2nd
year in a row. They will represent Illinois at the Nationals
from July 3-12th in Rochester, MN. The Wizards, who
were Illinois State Champs last year, will try and repeat
again this year in May.

Results

Wizards 8th grade blue celebrate
their win over the Naperville Rockets to win the North Central
College March Madness Tournament, Mar. 8-9th.

The
5th grade blue Wheatland Wizards hosted an Inaugural Basketball
Tournament on February 23rd. The tournament had six competitive
teams including Wheatland Wizards, Naperville Rockets, North
side Warriors, Will County Wolf Pac, Aurora All-stars and
Downers Grove Nomads. Each team participated in pool play where
the top two teams from each pool moved on to bracket play. The
Championship was an exciting event as the players were
introduced and the National Anthem was sung prior to the game.
The Wizards prevailed as Champions.
